Case Study

Deep bite mid line shift and moderate crowding

Fiona has a very deep bite, with the top front teeth completely covering the bottom front teeth. There is moderate crowding and the mid lines do not correspond.

To correct the very deep bite that has caused her front teeth to chip, Invisalign aligners are used to slowly intrude both top and bottom front teeth to open the bite and offer a more attractive smile and minimise the risk of further chipping the front teeth. In addition, the anterior teeth are inclined forward and the very large top front teeth slightly slenderised to increase the arch length to allow the teeth to perfectly line up and so correct the crowding.

An additional benefit to the treatment is that her smile will be broader and display beautiful straight teeth.

Treatment time is 18 months.
