Front open bite

Anna has an anterior open bite where she is unable to bring top and bottom front teeth together. This was probably caused in early childhood by thumb sucking. In addition she is missing an adult tooth and we need to create space for an implant.

To correct this problem Invisalign is used to rotate the top teeth downward and extrude them to correctly meet the teeth on the lower jaw. The space that needs to be opened will match exactly the tooth size on the other side of the jaw so the implant tooth will fit exactly as we wish.

Treatment time is about 20 months.
